The first issue was that there are two serial port tables for the PIC&#8230; and I was using the wrong one. This helped some things. Right now I am not getting anything out&#8230; ARGH. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/voip-info.org\/wiki\/index.php?page=VOIP+PBX+and+Servers\">Voip-Info.org<\/a> Web site has some very interesting details of what is available on the VoIP field. I am downloading the Asterisk@Home software right now to try out. This boots from a CD and includes a Web interface to administer the software. As a 550 MByte download, it is taking some time to get down. This will be interesting to try out. <\/p>\n<p>A little later I will go out for a run &#8211; I am not sure how long I will do&#8230; 2KM would be a good distance but I am not sure that I will make that. I will just have to see.
