The Air Force Research Laboratory&#8217;s materials and manufacturing directorate is testing aluminum oxynitride &#8212; ALON &#8212; as a replacement for the traditional multi-layered glass transparencies now used in existing ground and air armored vehicles. Transparent Aluminium was initially introduced in StarTeak IV.<\/p>\n<p>According to the BBC, Bill Gates has given <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/technology\/4350972.stm\">US$15m<\/a> to the Computer History Museum in California. The gift is the museum&#8217;s largest and will be used to create an interactive exhibit, tracing the computing revolution and its impact. <\/p>\n<p>I have some debugging to do with VB.NET in the morning&#8230; I have had some issues getting some WebService stuff working. WebServices just not working &#8211; and i am not sure why. I will have to test a few things tomorrow to work this out. It cannot be too hard to work out.
