It is what appears to be Braille&#8230;<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/new.radio-active.net.au\/web3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/01\/braille_res.gif?w=605\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><br \/>One of my friends commented that he could not work out what it said since &#8216;it was in braille and his screen was flat&#8217;. I am assuming here that he was kidding me. Well, I hope so. My guess is that this says &#8216;Google&#8217; but I have been known to be wrong. Personally I think it is a better logo that most of them since the coloured balls are actually being used in the logo. <\/p>\n<p>I have just finished a program for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rf-developments.com\/\">OzFlarm <\/a>Glider device that I have been working on. This program was written in VB6 since I wanted it to be a smaller download, since the .Net runtimes require about 25 MBytes. That is a bit much for many people. Also, I suspect that many people will have laptops that do not run fast enough to use the .Net framework. So I used VB6. And then I could not for the life of me work out how to actually make an install program. It must have taken 15 minutes for me to find a seperate tool called &#8216;Package and Deployment&#8217; to generate the install program. This program is not great, but it does work. If I was enthusiastic I would find a copy of the third party software that I purchased rather than rely on this software. Maybe I will do that when I need to compile the software next. <\/p>\n<p>The SMH is reporting on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/news\/national\/alarm-over-shortage-of-engineers\/2006\/01\/04\/1136050496800.html\">National shortage of engineers<\/a>. This is a real worry for the nation. Numbers are going down&#8230; It will be interesting to see what is done to fix this problem&#8230; Finally, My inbox has got down to 28 email messages unread. That is fairly good. I do not think it will be possible to get much lower than that.
