I was offered lunch there but I needed to race back here to visit the post office – I hoped to have a parcel waiting for me there, and I needed to send one off. Unfortunately the parcel was not there and was actually delivered to home, but I was not home so it will be at the post office later today. ARGH! One more trip out.

At my brothers place I ended up installing about eleven different light fittings. This ended up taking about five hours, or about 30 minutes per fitting. I was surprised – it did not seem like that long. Then again each fitting needed to be modified with different wire entry holes, and different mounting holes. All this adds up. I had awful trouble installing the ensuite’s light – the toggle just would not go in. Must have taken about 10-15 minutes just to get it in. And then the walk-through wardrobe had similar problems getting a screw into an existingt hole.

And like many units, my brother does not have air conditioning meaning that there is little flow of air near the ceiling where I was doing the work. Still, this job is done right now. My next job is to decide which is more important – a shower or some food… Hmm…

I think it must be almost time for lunch… I finished off at my brothers place about an hour ago, and right now I am looking forward to a cool shower and some food.
