This is on top of the fact that I actually do feel quite tired.

Part of the reason for this is that last night I got my first taste of the X-Box. The first thing I noticed when we turned it on was the user interface – the menu system that came up when you turned on the device without a DVD in it. It looked so familiar – it was designed by REZN8 which is a former client of mine – and the look and feel just reminded me of their graphics work. Screamed out as coming from their designers and animators.

We also hired a game to play on the device – after all it is no use having such a game machine there if you are not going to actually play at least one game. Well, we hired a car racing game, and I should say that I did not drive it well at all. Even after some practice I was hitting the walls more often than not. I just found the controller so hard to get used to. The controller is really well designed, but it is just that I am used to using my hands and feet to drive. It really was hillarious watching me trying to get a car around the course…

I think I needed more sleep last night.
