I have a friend over to do some heavy duty C programming so I have been relegated to one of the other tables in my office. It does feel a bit strange not having my normal desk to work on. The shadows and the lighting is all very different – and I don’t think as nice – as my normal desk. Normally I have a light coming from the side so that I do not get shadows on the keyboard or screen. In this case the angle is such that the keyboard is fairly well shaddowed by my body. <\/p>\n

The one thing that is good is that this desk is slightly shorter than the one I normally use so it is slightly more ergonomic. Or it would be if my footstool was under this desk rather than my other one. Simple fix though.<\/p>\n

One of my former bosses gave me a ring today – he is looking at getting me to do some work. From how he described the work things should be ‘fun’. I might even need to have a flight or two in a plane… It should be an interesting exercise. I just need to make sure that I have enough experience to be able to write the report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
