The effect is really cool, and brings some life to the photos. The one I love is the tropical beach&#8230; and on a screen saver it makes me want to just sit there for hours on end and not do any work at all!<\/p>\n<p>Well, reading an article on <a href=\"http:\/\/www-128.ibm.com\/developerworks\/xml\/library\/x-ajaxslideshow\/?ca=dgr-lnxw01AjaxSl\">IBM&#8217;s Developer Works<\/a> I found out that this effect is called the Ken Burns Effect after the person who popularlised it in his documentory films. Greg Man has released a windows Screen Saver which is not only free, but also does the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greggman.com\/nostalgic\" \/>same things<\/a>.
