Strangely I had not even used it in the intervening time, except for an SMS or two. I find this really strange. I would have thought that the battery should be lasting a little longer. So I guess I have two options… Get a new battery for this phone or get a new phone. Given some of the phones on the market I think I will choose the latter… A friend has a nice Motorolla which seems not to eat batteries so I might get one of them.

Windows is a pain at times. Well, a lot of the time. With a Mac with OSX you can get under the hood and thinks make sense. Under Windows a lot less things make sense. Spyware has more of an impact, and removal sometimes breaks software (Thanks Microsoft)… And it seems that often the only way to fix things is to reboot or reinstall from scratch. As an example I just needed to reboot because Nortons had crashed checking my email. The only way to fix this was to restart the machine.

There is an old joke… Windows has detected your mouse has moved. Restart? This is unfortunately too true. The other thing is… Your computer has detected that your computer is running a non-microsoft product… Reinstall windows? This is getting close to being true…

I think I need to get myself a new cellphone finally… I charged it yesterday morning, and it was running low on batteries this evening.
