I have recently returned from a run, and found that I could only do about 2.5km or so – it really tired me out. I might be up to a short run this afternoon, but I intend to get my endurance improved now that the weather is getting cooler, and also easter and Anzac Day is behind us. For some reason I do not tend to go running when I am staying away from home working on the plane…

Running does take time out of my day, and so does tasks such as getting the mail from the post office and also getting lunch I suppose, but all of these are important. I guess I just need to build them into my day! I have often thought that with all the special interests needing to be taught in schools (such as Peanut allergy training, anti-bullying, Anti-aids etc) that there must be very little time left to teach reading, writing and math… It is becoming to be like that with my business.

It is not necesarily running that takes the time… It is getting ready, then doing the running, then getting a drink and cooling down, and then having a shower at the end. All that can quickly add up to an hour even for a 20 minute run. Longer runs are worse, but obviously those extra tasks are not as big a percentage of the total…

I am not as fit as I was a month ago that is for sure.
