The problem is that this project is in the USA on May 19\/20 which is very quick to get equipment to the USA. It would be good to go over there to work on this job, but I suspect that their budget will not allow it, and also I have other things on at that time. <\/p>\n<p>Short update&#8230; I just had a phone call from the client after emailing&#8230; Not bad&#8230; Consulting work at 7:30AM on a sunday morning. Well, I was up. After speaking to the client I am happier about things &#8211; and I do not need to find local expertese thankfully. <\/p>\n<p>I found a link on the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/science\/nature\/4974542.stm\">BBC<\/a> about some research in Israel about measuring rainfall using cellphone signal degridation. I have been thinking about GPS being used to measure rain for some time&#8230; But I had never thought about using cellphone towers and signals&#8230; Also, The Twin Cities Pioneer Press is reporting about an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twincities.com\/mld\/twincities\/news\/local\/14504200.htm\">underground radio<\/a> that works up to 500ft underground.
