I had a coffee moove with lunch but was still thirsty so I picked up the coke. Unfortunately by the time I got home it had shaken enough to cause it to froth up and cover me… Slightly embarrasing, but thankfully I was in the privacy of my own home so no-one else got to see me drenched in coke. As I said I am sure that someone filled the coke with something to cause me to be so clumsy with it.

I have just put a piece of software out for bid – a ‘designer’ to allow users to design workflows in a VB.NET application. By designer, I mean a software component that I can just bolt into an application which would allow me to design a workflow. This is actually a fairly simple task to outsource since it is fairly well defined, and it was limited interfaces.

This single designer will save me so much time and effort. Provided that the software is debugged before I get it, the integration time will be significantly reduced. I am get to get a quote for the work, but I am guessing under $100. Saves me time, and therefore money since i can be earning money rather than useless programming tasks, or I can get the entire big application completed more quickly.

Lunch was good, although I think my 600 ml bottle of coke was laced with something – that would explain how I managed to cover myself with coke when I opened the mostly full bottle when I got myself home …
