The show is something of a real version of the &#8216;Great Race&#8217; movie but not starting at New York. <\/p>\n<p>I am just amazed at the whole thing &#8211; the five teams are in either century old vehicles, or recreations of century old vehicles. And you can imagine the sort of problems they had by using vehicles like that. I just saw the GPS one of the teams is using &#8211; it is a pure GPS. No maps on it, just tells you speed and direction. Not that there would be a GPS available with maps of the Gobi desert. <\/p>\n<p>I guess the way I would describe this series is just like a Rob Sitch documentry&#8230; I guess I would love to try driving that route&#8230; Sounds really fun.
