EcoChallenge 2001: New Zealand

EcoChallenge 2001 was in the South Island of New Zealand. This location led to challenges for the organisers, thanks to the beautiful terrain of New Zealand. The snow capped peaks were only one of the many challenges for the event.

Radioactive Networks was there, working with Lateral Linking to provide the necesary communications for the event. In this case Radioactive Network was required to build a controller suitable for controlling a small diesel generator, powering it up when the battery voltage fell below a certain value.

Once more Radioactive Networks chose Rabbit Semiconductor modules for this application. The attached photos show the repeaters along with our controllers being installed before the race.
