It is really cold today in Sydney, at least by Sydney standards. According to the SMH, it was 11 degrees at 11AM, with a forcast maximum of 14. That makes this the coldest day this winter, and maybe this will be the coldest day all winter. The temperature maxed out at 11:07 at Observatory Hill at 12.7 degrees. This is rather cold for Sydney.

On the professional front, I had an article I wrote published in the ‘Risks Digest’ mailing list. This is probably the fourth or fifth that I have had published there. The Risks Digest is a mailing list of computer stuff ups of various types. If you do a search on the internet for ‘Risks Digest’ you can find the archive.

Right now I wish I was in the UK… There is a New verson of Monopoly being played in London. They have a number of Taxi’s being tracked by GPS, and have a competition to see who can get the best ‘income’ from building houses and hotels on places like Mayfair and Park Lane, and collecting the rent when the Taxi’s visit the area over a 24 hour period.

I have been really busy today doing programming of the Windows software that works with my trackers. Basically I am working on some automated testing software for the trackers, and also software to monitor the status of the equipment. This is something I have wanted for a while and I am only now getting a chance to write it.

Also, I will probably be building tomorrow… Richard has the day off. I just need to visit my major client on the way across to do a little work there soldering some connectors. I also found out today that they are looking at ordering a whole lot more units real soon which is fantastic. They are really happy, which is a load off my mind…
