I had a really enjoyable day yesterday when I visited my old supervisor from Pacific Power at Hawksberry Heights… Really great to catch up, filling each other in on what has been happening since we last saw each other in person… Well, emails and instant messages get exchanged, but that is not the same as catching up in person.

When I was over there he got me to install his ADSL modem… SOmething that he could have worked out himself if he had wanted to but it was so much easier just to get me to do it. That way less thinking was involved and Ross had just spent three weeks off work moving his father into a retirement home so was happy to get someone else to do this work.

I just loved the location… So peaceful and tranquil. I am not sure I would want to live there with the bushfire danger, but it certainly is a fantastic place to visit… And you do feel much closer to nature.

When I got home last night I watched ‘Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind’. This movie would probably made more sense if I had read the cover before seeing the movie, but I do not know if that would have added anything to the enjoyability of the movie. Working out what the story was became half the battle, and working out what was happening where to whom.

I cannot really say much more about that without giving the plot away and I would prefer not to do that at this stage. Just to say make sure you see this movie. It makes you think…
