Odilon is the author of a thorough users review of the Garmin RINO.
I asked him if it was possible to automatically donwload data from
other RINO's over the serial port as Waypoints.  THey answer is yes,
but the receiving RINO does not automatically put them in the
WAYPOINT list.  An operator has to press buttons to do that.  Here

Hello Bob.   Sorry for my delay.

Really you are correct: Name1 is the name of Rino #1.
It is possible to transfer the position of Rino #1 to Rino #2, creating a
Waypoint in Rino #2.

But it is not an automatic process. It is necessary to press some keys in
Rino #2.
