Darryl started Radioactive Networks in January, 2000 as he saw a need in industry for a smaller wireless engineering consultant who could give independent advice - being paid by the client, not through payments from the equipment supplier.

Darryl is an expert in digital wireless systems, with several papers published in international conferences on the subject and several magazine articles. 

Darryl is an Electrical Engineer with many years experience in the electrical generation business. In the generation business he has worked on areas as diverse as controls and instrumentation, telecommunication networks, substation design, environmental management, switchboards and DC systems plant ownership. For the past five years he has been instrumental \implementing a new drawing management system to manage over 500,000 drawing records created during the last century.

In addition, Darryl has been doing some pioneering work on implementing an internet linked mobile GPS network.
