According to BoingBoing, scientists have taught monkeys to use money. This is so cool. The monkeys need to make decisions on how to spend the money - albeit in the short term. Another experiment is aimed at teaching and looking at trust, where one monkey can provide food for a second monkey by pulling a handle, and vice versa. The monkeys must work together to both get food.

I am still waiting for the parcel. It did not arrive yesteday and I am not happy. I am NOT impressed at all. I suspect this is more the problem with the supplier than with Australia Post - although I cannot prove this yet.

Engadget has a story about a paintball tank that you can remote control operate over the internet in some guys house, so long as you are prepared to pay for the service.
